The Blairsville Campus Library of North Georgia Technical
College is located in Room 213 and it functions as a technical
library. It provides research assistance and resources
to support NGTC's curriculum through books, journals, multimedia
and electronic databases.
The
library is equipped with twelve PC’s, a scanner and
a digital imaging system with print and xerographic capabilities.
Two TV/VCR combinations and one TV/DVD/VCR combination are
available for on-site viewing.
An extensive reference collection is provided for in-house use.
Newspaper subscriptions include The Atlanta
Journal/Constitution, North Georgia News, Towns
Sentinel, Union Sentinel, and The Wall
Street Journal.
Library services include reference/research requests,
bibliographic instruction, tours, interlibrary loan, peer
tutoring, resource guides tailored to NGTC’s curriculum, and
other library-related services.
Media services include videoconferencing, satellite programming,
and management of the media distribution system.
