Prepare to take the test to become a licensed Commercial Truck Driver with this hands-on review. Topics include theory, pre-trip inspection, safety, and test advice. NOTE: Students need to go by the DDS and pick up a book before the first night of class. Driving tests are scheduled in Clarkesville; students must furnish their own truck for the driving portion of the exam. Taught by Bruce Turpin. Cost: $150; 5 sessions.

CDL Refresher
This class is for licensed drivers who have been off the road and need to take the 40-hour Refresh course to reactivate a CDL license. Students will spend 20 hours in class and 20 hours behind the wheel. Taught by Bruce Lane. Special introductory price: $399! 40 hours.

Certified Pool Operator
This class provides 14 hours of classroom training with an end of course test on topics such as codes and calculations, water testing, maintenance, and operational problems. Students passing the final exam will be certified for 5 years. Taught by Steve Scheuer. Cost: $350; 2 days. 1.6 CEUs.

ServSafe is a comprehensive food safety training program that provides the latest updates in the science of food safety and best practices in the industry. This class will be a great place to network and learn new tips and techniques for school and hospital food service managers, operators, and workers as well as niche tourist restaurateurs. The certification test will be administered at the end of the second day of class. Taught by Jeff McKenna. Cost: $150; 10 hours. 1.0 CEUs.

Soil Erosion Recertification
